Ontario | ILLRick, interesting read. In the end its all about bucks, and who has the "legal" right to charge us (the farmers) as much as the market will bear!
As my dad always says... wherever there is fighting, there is money involved!
This whole Optimum GAT, RR1, RR2 technology spat, is just over how much of the "pie" each company is going to get from us.
(It must be a big pie! Because all the lawsuits, and legal teams involved are sure not cheap!)
Have no illusions... When all is settled, it will trickle down into the cost of a bag of seed.
