I agree that they will try and inflate their way out of this US financial mess.  They have no other choise.

 I can remember my first new car purchase was under $5,000, ect. 

I am very aware of inflation, but not a whole lot I can do about it.  lol. 

I think most people just live with it and expect a cost of living increase to cover the inflation.
