I agree with that statement whole heartedly Mark. Thats why i think a majority of trends get followed. If a fund wants (there is plenty big enough out there) they can create their own trends within a stock or market. That is in a small way what Goldman is getting looked at for. They could create a solid trend and fund their own positions. Charts do hold alot of validity because of these reasons.
