Sac & Story county IA | I have had bankers tell me they don't want deposits or loans because of FDIC premiums. "We just don't want to grow the bank right now". The same guy told me 15 years ago when I was shopping for a loan: "you stop looking right here". FDIC is supposed to stand on it's own.
Too big to fail? I owned AT&T stock 40 years ago. The justice department thought they had too break them up because they were too big. Why didn't they break up GM into Buick and Oldsmobile, etc at the same time? | |
