Second generation on this farm, forth generation on this postal route going back to great-grandfather who took up the land after working as a logger. Our family has farmed one place or another in North America since 1638 in Mass. If we can ever finally prove up the claim that the first in the line married a native American, then I'll claim 9000 years in North America.
