Don't know what the consequences are with Insight, but as far as guidance is concerned, it should not cause any problem as AB lines are there to give you a direction. Basically an AB line should be very similar to an A+ line.
Thing is U need a precise starting point to compute the passes considering your implement's width.... That could cause a problem as the starting point would be outside the field.
When I tested the EZ-Steer over 30 hours non stop this winter, I was told to define my AB line outside the field anyway.
Maybe some guru's with experience would like to join in...
