Red River Valley | jreiser- the elevator manager I was talking to said he was buying sub $2.00 cash corn after all discounts and basis (I would assume the bagged corn was it) we were talking about how mad the farmers that grow Wheat were because of the protien discounts and He mentioned that some of them with the big discounts there and wide basis where getting around $2.50 on wheat and with the corn being wet last fall or leaving it in the field until spring farmers may be changing crop mix up here.
The conculsion of the elevator man was that soybeans would gain a lot of acres in northwestern MN and all of the Dakota's
