| Just received an email in regard to humane snoopers in Iowa Chicken farms...while I understand raising poultry is an economic necessity...for someone whose spent more than his share in a chicken house AND HAS TRADED SHELL EGG FUTURES....I have little concern for the leghorn. Nothing personal.
Personally, I was tickled to see the little fowl finally squeezed into cages - except to someone unfamiliar with the daily care and upkeep of our feathered friends--the birds might appear a bit crowded.
When you boys & girls hire employees..may want to FIRST consider a visit to the Radio Shack store for some low voltage scanners....when 60 minutes pulls onto your yard it is generally too late & while I have no experience with 60 minutes I do recall ag reporters wanting interviews & when that bright light flashes on in my face..it is easy to look like a deer in the headlights as my brain would stop momentarily until I became used to it.
Times have sure changed. Glad I do not have to contend with it. | |
