E.Central MN | Sure, a revalued Yuan would make US ag products cheaper for Chinese buyers. It would also make other US assets cheaper for Chinese buyers, including stocks, bonds, land, etc. One of these years they might decide to rid themselves of all those US $$$ they have acquired by going on a buying spree in the US. Not sure that there is a lot left that they'd want....they've been able to get most of the technology they needed just by allowing companies to start manufacturing over there. Maybe they should buy out Smithfield and raise their hogs here. | |
