Subject: The Triple Whammy ?

Central Missouri
Is it possible that grain producers in the U.S. get hit with the triple whammy of higher oil, higher interest rates and a higher dollar ? Just something to ponder for your risk management.

Look at the charts ....

Bonds: http://www.agrichartsmobile.com/markets/chart.php?page=ccharts&sym=...

That looks like a possible head an shoulders top with price sitting at the neckline.

Crude: http://www.agrichartsmobile.com/markets/chart.php?page=ccharts&sym=...

In the past it was bad for grain farmers if crude went higher. Not so much anymore as it supports corn ethanol prices. So is it good or bad?

Dollar: http://www.agrichartsmobile.com/markets/chart.php?page=ccharts&sym=...

Who knows about this one but the monthly macd has crossed higher and higher interest rates normally mean a stronger dollar.

Which way it all goes is anyones guess but the 3 are lining up in a way that could be challenging to grain farming.
