Subject: Lowe`s corn

swmn/soin
Was wondering if anyone else has seen this.

I was in Lowe`s yesterday and saw that they have corn for sale. It is ear corn in 10# bags being sold as squirrel and deer food. Seems there is a market for it....or perceived to be. Try this on for size.....10# `s of ear corn for $7.98. Now correct me if I am wrong, but I think when one wants to figure the amount of bushels of ear corn, you divide the total weight by 70. So using those numbers we would have 7 units of 10# bags to equal our one bushel of ear corn. So with that amount of 7 units @ $7.98 it would amount to $55.86 per bushel. I would dare to wager that everybody here would love to sell ear corn.....even shell corn for that. Just an observation and points to ponder.....fwiw
