Well, just go ahead and plant nothing then, and at the end of the season you can tell us how profitable you were!

Common sense tells me that if I produce nothing, I am not going to make any money and I am going to run out of money, no matter what the price is.

My production is not going to change the price one way or the other, so the more I have to sell, the more return I am going to have.

There's nothing here that should be even slightly difficult to understand.  I'm left to wonder how one can run a business without a rudimentary understanding of how to maximize return.
