I thought my statement was rather clear but I guess not.

If having a preference for buying American products when they are price competitive with foreign products and it makes sense (that is what I said) makes me protectionist, then I guess I am.

I think that is kind of what the email that I copied also said, or at least what I took from it.  The store brands were cheaper or the same cost and made in the USA where the name brands were higher priced and foreign made. Makes sense to read the label and buy USA in that case to me.

Old age does that to a person. We get set in our ways. LOL
