Ohio | Good post John. Awhile back I purchased a set of washing machine hoses at Menards. To my surprise when looking to see the origin, the bag said MADE IN THE USA ! I commented to the young salesman about if we saw that simple label MADE IN THE USA we would all be alot better off. He replied that at their staff meeting it was told to the staff that it was the companys desire to purchase more MADE IN THE USA products. And to my surprise when I shop there I am seeing alot more of this in Menards. I also look for this when I go to Lowes, I'm not seeing this at Lowes and I visit Lowes hardly ever now, and in the past Lowes had 90% of my business! How ironic that when WalMart first started they cloacked them selves in the MADE IN THE USA flag. I hope someday the public wakes up and and makes them choke on all of their MADE IN CHINA crap. We have to produce our selves out of this mess that we have out sourced ourselves into. | |
