Kagen the fact that you bring this subject up beg's the question how much land that you own or pay rent on are you not farming this year?

The reason farmers plant even when they are going to lose money is --- The same as why they did not sell when prices were profitable Because prices will get higher some how some way prices are going to get back to where it is profitable so I will plant and harvest and wait!!!!

when you see farm land and equipment sales drop like the housing market crashed then you will know that farmers are going to slow down production
untill then they won't let land go and they will pay whatever it takes to "keep" land because they still belive that if I don't get it now I will never get another chance.
