If the hammers are turning at all on your drum, you will shred the net wrap to a point that it will not cause digestive problems. The problems with it "balling up" in the stomach comes from not removing the wrap from bales or the frozen wrap that eventually thaws... some calf will eat it. Through a processor the wrap is indistinguishable.

We heat a sickle section then use it to slice through the wrap on the drum around every 50 bales. Cuts is like butter.
