North Dakota | Maybe I'm completely and totally off base, but I have 0% confindence that our countries marketing system is based on anything. China cancels orders yesterday and bean market tanks. They purchased soybeans overnight and market doesn't even hiccup. I have taken to just marketing physically my production when it is in the bin. I sell slight amounts a times I feel confindent and has seemed to actually work out better than any marketing gurus I have ever listened to.
I'm now farming land that two neighbors lost due to getting too involved in "playing" the markets. Honest to God, I think you have better odds playing blackjack in Vegas than trying to figure out the broken, slanted and crooked marketing system we have. Just my $.02. | |
