Iowa - Floyd County | Had the exact same thing here in 2021. In August a tornado wiped out the farm 1/4 mile to the south of me, no one lived there anymore but there was plenty of machinery and buildings destroyed, I got no damage thankfully. In December of 21 a tornado went through a mile north of me, again was spared damage. I watched the August tornado coming straight at my house and when it got about 1/2 mile away it turned south a little bit and missed us. I don’t ever need to see one that close again.
I hope your neighbors come out ok and hopefully no one was injured. It’s a big mess to get cleaned up, that’s for sure. | |
