Good Grief. At Bretton Woods we basically agreed to be the worlds policeman IF we could also be the worlds reserve currency. That kicked of 70-80 years of unparalleled economic growth and relative peace. Shaking that up isn't something edgy, it's stupid. Poland and Germany and France are arming to the teeth. Several European countries will probably acquire nukes one way or another. Yeah, this is swell. What could possibly go wrong?
