| Just thinking here, usually gets me in trouble, but a person could buy 250 Dec puts for 2 cents and protect corn LDP 's if enrolled in ACRE. Even Dec 2011 250 puts are around 5 cents. I was thinking that this might be the year a person would want to sign into the ACRE program. It guarantees revenue, right? And doesn't it have a 10% cup on the revenue? If the last couple of years were good for a guy - yield and price - this might make alot of sense. I did a great deal of research a year ago on the topic and now have to pull out my notes again. More paperwork...
