| That was the deal, you forfeit the LDP and grain loan and countercyclical payment. You recieve the acre payment. Your acre payment kicks in as a free put when prices get low, the governmnet doesn't pay when prices are high. I don't know why someone would file a lawsuit over this they knew this ahead of time. Guess when they signed up for the program they didn't think of the cash flow benefits of the grain loan. Now they are locked into the program for 4 years so they better get used to it. Plus, the program is based on the FSA number fields not farmers, so a landowner can't change farmers and expect to get more money because it is a different farmer that still has a safety net.
