NCSD | Apparently folks are much smarter than those around here... virtually everyone I have talked too either thought or were led to believe that the 30% LDP reduction would be a reduction in LDP payments, instead of the more likely 100% reduction.
If we get into an LDP situation "here", there will be a lot of heartache from those that participated in ACRE, if not farm sales. I don't think I'm being melo-dramatic with that statement either.
When I brought up the possibility of this situation playing out to our FSA people there was a lot of red faces, and hemming and hawing. I shudder to think of the ill-will towards those in the office that were pushing ACRE to the producers in our county. | |
