 south central WI | I don't have robots, but we started touring rotary parlor setups with our dealer. He sells both. He claims that farms with a couple robots like them. Farms with 8 or more (I forget what the exact number was) tell him they will go to a rotary or parlor when the robots need updating. This was his experience and his opinion. A few robots would be easy to manage and probably nicer most days than a parallel or herringbone parlor. Once you're at/over 1000 cows, then a rotary parlor seems simpler than a couple dozen robots. | |
