My suggestion would be to continue importing US pork
(which is from Canadian hogs anyway
) without placing any tariffs on it, find somewhere/something else to do battle on.
Anything Canada does to escalate the situation concerning the pork trade could end very very badly for the Canadian hog/pork industry.
