I've taken forage samples in late February. 9.6 protein and 73 RFV. The Photo period sensitive trait does not make grain so all the sugars and energy stay in the plant. Also by letting it run it's normal life cycle, I don't have high nitrates.
Your saying all the good stuff stays and all the bad stuff goes away.
Take a sample in September and see how much nutrients you are losing by February - then get back to us. |
