Dry and dusty here. Need to watter down our corral for working cattle.
Some pivots in the area are running. If we don't get substantial moisture this weekend, it will be my top priority next week, on alfalfa and rye.
If we don't get good spring rains, we may be screwed for summer pasture. Some of my irrigated ground is going to be planted to summer manuals, that can be grazed, if needed.
Nasty fires happening often, several on very windy days.
Sure wish those of you that don't want rain, would share a inch every so often! | |
