I've said for years to anyone that would listen that being a contract hog grower was/is NOT risk free.
The contract isn't worth the paper its printed on if the company goes broke and you're left with a couple million $'s tied up in a single use facility with a definite life span.
Just because a company is big doesn't mean they can't/won't go broke. It just means they leave a bigger mess behind if/when they do go broke.
