Even cool gard II apparently uses nitrate, so it won't hurt anything as long as you don't drink it. They all say never to mix anybody else's antifreeze with theirs, but theirs is fine to mix with everybody else's, so what does that mean. To avoid that mixing, add distilled water if you don't have the correct type, you can always add concentrate later.
