West Texas | I am always amazed at how deep the water lines have to be up north also. No one around here understands cold weather. Most lines to houses are probably 12”-18” deep. All of the plumbing coming out of a house well is just wrapped with insulation and most people just start a garden hose in the yard real slow if it is going to get much below freezing. Most of the time it is only what we call cold for 2-3 days at a time. | |
