( not on large tractor tire), but out of desperation once-after they denatured starting fluid, I used FOAMY brand shaving cream to fill gap around a tire. It worked. I am confident it would not work every time, but in this case it did-more than once. At the time, I did not have any of the specialized blow tanks or anything else for this problem
