nw/nc iowa on the banks of West Buttrick Creek.. | I think about the one man business's, like the guy who culled chickens, shelled corn and trucked, feed grinder man, TV repairman who fixed the vertical and horizontal hold, 1&1/2 man tiling crew, milk haulers, corn scoopers, the fuel man always had time to talk while the 300 gallon barrel filled. In the 60's we had a guy who hand dug tile. One man carpenter crew. Feed salesman.
Good memories of good hard working people who raised good famiies.
Seems as tho it was about 1960's when my relatives started quiting the farm and moving on, about the time of the 560 and the 4 bottom plow.
