In less than a minute, in my head, I counted six Deere, four IH, two Allis, two MF, one Oliver, two Case that have left.
Four grain elevators gone.
Several TSC, Orschlen, and Big Blue that used to serve farmers that are now gone, or filled to the rafters with horse and dog food.
Not to mention all the local mom-and-pop stores that have vanished since I was a kid.
The elevator below still stands but has not been used for years. It was in use when I was a kid, I always thought it looked like a castle in some TV show.
