You will do good to get 350-370 tons of 65% moisture corn silage stored in a 20 X 50 silo. Feed it over a year period allows you about a ton per day.
2000 lbs at 60 lb/cow = 33 cows . 70 lbs/cow = 28 cows. 47 feet of usable storage depth of silage in 50 foot silo is 564 inches, divide by 365 days is 1.545 inches per day. Removing only that much per day probably would be iffy to stay ahead of deterioration of silage quality during warm weather in the autumn months following harvest. In cold of winter it would not be problem. When weather warms in spring and is hottest in summer, deterioration should not be problem due to the silage density in lower part of silo being it so well packed. Seen it in my experience anyway.
