SW Ohio | Looking for some help before i buy a separate 4G modem. I have a Panasonic Toughpad FZ-G1 MK4 with a Sierra Wireless EM7355 modem. I'm using a Simbase SIM card, and with the tablet powered on it recognizes the SIM card and it shows up as active on Simbase, but its showing no data transfer online and no cell service on the tablet. I'm not super tech savvy with this type of stuff, but one potential issue i'm seeing is that this Tablet came with Windows 11 on it, but the newest drivers for the modem are for Windows 10. Is it as simple as that my OS is just too new for it to work?
FWIW i can get a Netgear 4G modem for $20, so not looking to throw much more time or money at this thing. I only need cellular data on the tablet to run the NTRIP for RTK corrections for AgOpenGPS steering. | |
