S.C. Wisconsin | I farmed and milked cows for over 40 years and it was good and a good place to raise a family. But I didn't want the farm to consume my entire life. We just spent the 18th year wintering in Arizona. I always had outside interest besides farming So far I have not regretted my choice. If you want retire you have to have a plan or it will never happen . Retiring doesn't mean you sit around and do nothing or retirement will be unfulfilling. I have witnessed some who retired and took up bad habits like excessive drinking and gambling. | |
