The Ubiquiti 5AC equipment all runs in the 5 GHz range.

FWIW Tidbits - Ubiquiti has their airGrid M HP series, which both 2 GHz or 5 GHz, and a range up to 30+ km using a parabolic antenna.

At 3 miles distance, 2 GHz will be slower than 5 GHz, but from my limited RF understanding indicates 2 GHz performs better when trees exist than 5 GHz. airGrid M HPs are not plug-n-play, but a tech would have to examine his site, and determine what might work.
