Glad to see you are doing well. I have a question maybe someone can help me with. My right shoulder needs to be replaced (or so I am being told). My question is how do you know when it is time to get it done? I had surgery on the same shoulder maybe 2 years ago to reattach some tendons and clean things up. I have pretty good mobility in the shoulder and can do most anything I want with some restricted movement behind my back like trying to put a coat on or button up shirt. I can do it but it can be painful. I cannot sleep on my right side because it is painful. I have taken 5 cortisone shot in the last year and half and doc says its time to do something. I have done PT, had an MRI and visited with the surgeon but I just cant pull the trigger because.....well I am not sure why. If you have had shoulder replacement how did you know it was time?
