My understanding is the Agc0 version is the only one that the Cvt has dedicated oil.
Some of the neighbors had other brands fail from brake material.
I don't know for sure about all...I know the early Deere IVT used a common reservoir and had MASSIVE issues keeping the IVT cool in hot climates like the Southwestern USA...that was like 8520/8530 days. I would imagine they got a handle on it at some point, though I have a customers with a 8R360 IVT he pulls a DB60 with and he tells me all the time how hot his tractor is when he gets out of the cab planting compared to his 8680 MF pulling a similar load and condition.
I also know that when he puts a grain cart on both tractors, the Deere sits at the end of the field while the Massey does all the carting work. None of his guys like the IVT as well as the MF CVT, and they all tell me it's because the control lever and shift is too hard to learn and anticipate. The MF control is just simpler.
I do hear the new eIVT is a whole different animal....
