Parker, SD | From what I've learned you're pretty spot on. I'm not sure what application you're running.
We have a 375hp Massey Ferguson with the DynaVT. Its got basically an economy button that matches engine RPM to load. It rarely pulls over 1800 rpm in most conditions. You can adjust droop and speed and all sorts of setting to dial it in. I don't like it because it seems like when you start hitting peak load it slows down versus lugging the engine. I'm sure i have old mechanic brain thinking but to me you aren't really spinning your turbos if you're not pulling the engine down a little bit. I'm sure the engineers are thinking way past that, and over all i have no real complaints, it definitely sips fuel. less than a half gallon to the acre planting pulling a 24row planter. 12row strip till in most conditions under a gallon per acre, half gallon in really nice conditions. | |
