| I recall a story told to me by a now deceased bond broker...he was asked by a high profile client to deliver a cashier's check for a real estate transaction & the fee was giant (unrequested by my acquaintance, but later discovered why the high fee was provided) ..RISK ..the bond guy walked into a deserted Nevada building ...in LV ...first a short fellow (key character in movie Casino -the real fellow--& the character who ended up later in a midwest corn field) along with two giant brutes ....my acquaintance indicated this person was so intense it shocked him ...in a few minutes a well-known entertainer entered...thinking this person may relieve some of the tension...it didn't..the personality was so scared he was unable to speak..the short fellow instructed "sign the papers, I get the check, and get your $SS over in the corner!!!" --(to the entertainer) ...as soon as the Bbroker notarized the deal..he was instructed to immediately leave. Told me it was the most frightening moment in his life (a Korean War vet) -he was never threatened...it was just obvious the short fellow was the REAL DEAL. Those types of folks do not understand losing money.
