Article on Barchart said coldest average January temp since 1988. Did not specify if this was US or worldwide, it has been COLD here sustained for longer than I can remember. Next week looks like more of the same, 20 to 30 degrees F below normal.
-9F this morning here. Suppose to get up to 1F. I guess that is 15F to 20F cooler than normal. So yes a cold stretch, but not record breaking for us. |
