Subject: RE: New holland T6 Tractor

Virginia
My main use for this tractor is to pull a 6 row planter, 15 ft batwing, pull 300 bushel wagons, maybe pull my sprayer, and possibly pull a round baler.

The 32x32 has a creeper and I'm considering it also to possibly pair up with a smaller forestry tiller. There are several mfg that make a machine suited for pulpwood size stumps and smaller rocks that only till down 7-10 inches. They recommend 100-170 hp and either a creeper or cvt transmission.

I'm leary of the cvt and my understanding is the electro command is just a newer/heavier version of the transmission that was in my 7740 sle and ts 100 Tractors. They were good transmissions and I never had any trouble from them.

My land BTW where I'd use the forestry tiller is not rocky, just some little gravelly size stones. So I'm not worried about the middle of the hp spectrum. My understanding is the rocks require the higher hp. And they play hell on the carbide teeth.
