Some tractor companies use boosted engine horsepower as the model number. I much prefer the old days where a model number was just size in the series. 4440, 4640 4840
I refuse to use tractor data due to incorrect info. Instead use the Nebraska test lab data.
I know what you mean. I'm partial to the blue, and a 9600/9700 is 135 hp. But if my memory is correct they were around 160 engine hp so it seems legit. I just don't understand why they don't market it as 130-135 pto hp and be done with it |
