For the magnetic pickup, are there any target magnets on any of the planter drive wheels or carrier wheels? At least that’s where would assume they have to be. And that pickup unit would need to be mounted very close to them. Also a possibility it could be mounted next to a rotating shaft with a target on it.
And no, as far as I know, the sensors with the KM 1,2, and 3 monitors will not work with the older 3000 monitor. They have a circuit board in them I believe while the 3000 monitor sensors are the old style used since way back in JD7000’s and kinze 2000’s. Check and see which style (part number) sensor you have.
I appreciate all your help. Sensor, as in seed tube sensor? I haven’t found a magnet anywhere and I’m assuming the guy was running it on the interior rows because half the cord is rolled up and zip tied. |
