Some commented on "must be cold". I myself have seen -35+ here before; -20 to -25 used to be quite common, but not recently (but who knows). Pour point on a 15W product is usually in the -30s while the synthetics are in the low -50s (0w & 5w). Have a good tank type block heater, but does nothing for oil/oil pan temp. Those come with running engine warmup.
Which is preferred oil
