Never Pulled one off and reinstalled it always replace with a worm clamp. They have been around for decades with no issues. If your worried about cutting the hose go on mcmaster carr there are dozens of different styles with smooth insides etc. I've also had those stupid spring clamps break randomly too. One on the thermostat housing on my dodge randomly cracked in half after owning the truck for 8 years and never touching it once.
Is there a tool to retighten these style hose clamps?
