S Illinois | The problem is most Americans don't have enough experience or access to information to make informed decisions on rather intricate details. Rather they are dedicated to social media type sites without the want or ability to research the information they are consuming. Add in lacking statistical ability regarding happenings and all of a sudden there is a mob mentality of misinformed citizens. Being skeptical is great, but that skepticism seems to stop as soon as one viewpoint/beliefs are reinforced by someones posting or reporting. One should be skeptical at all times and especially when it agrees with ones own viewpoint.
How many do you think know that there is a Gaza territory in Africa that receives US funding? How many will read or research the airline/helicopter crash when the actually causes are laid out rather than the bogeyman of DEI as Trump has opinionated and that the press secretary has parroted. | |
