keep in mind that most of the higher fuel use is when you are loading the scrapper.  It only takes about a minute or two to fill and the rest of the time you are driving to and from the fill area.    all of my scrapper tractors use less fuel per hour releveling feilds then they use ripping or disking all day with a load on them....
