We have been using concentrated sulfuric acid. I buy a pallet of 6 5 gal jugs. End up using about 1/3 - 1/2 gallon per 1200gal load. A lot of chemicals and foliar products are quite basic. When using sulfuric acid, you just need to make sure you're very careful. I pour and measure it on the ground, standing off to the side. Then I dump it in the cone and let the venturi suck it up as I run the top tank rinse valve. It's buy far the cheapest solution I have found. Usually gets our solution to a ph between 5-6 after everything is completely loaded and mixed. Our water runs 7.4-7.6ph.


+1 on sulfuric acid been using it since early 90 s
