Subject: RE: Basis and Forward Contract

Ben, thanks for the information about Springdale. I will admit I am very new to selling corn, as this will be my 3rd year of growing crops. This year is the 2nd year I have been forward contracting with the integrators. So what is the average harvest basis you are able to get at Springdale? I was only able to get +.35 last year, so I thought +.40 was something I should go ahead and take. Does it get much higher??? I think to sell old crop right now the best basis I am able to get is +.42. Does that sound right to you? Thanks, Paul
